If you're struggling with missed shots in-game and need some practical advice, this video is for you. It's natural for our brains to hyper-focus on mechanics when things go wrong, but this can actually be counterproductive. While it makes sense to want to fix the problem, over-focusing on aim can worsen your performance. Instead, we should ground ourselves and shift our attention to what we can...

Great match! You mentioned the fact that players do not benefit from estimating a situation in hindsight. I would be interested in an analysis where you pause and elaborate on what your choice would be in the upcoming fight, after a pickup, etc. And then afterwards you unpause and we get to see what the player chooses.

This advice is coming from not a good aimer, but literally the best aimer in NA guys. Listen to this man.

10:40 I think the fact that he knew mega was coming up (give or take a few seconds) he chose to risk it. Perhaps he could have caught Cypher jumping towards mega (if the timing was right) and got the frag. I guess even world champions take risks under pressure. Nice video Dan! Enjoyed it.

Ngl if this youtube content thing doesn't work out for you, you could prolly become a personal trainer. Bros already talking about leg day, the most hated day, but in a way that makes me wanna go hit legs lmao, for the first few months in the gym its definitely over whelming for a lot of people. Idk how much mixing content types affects a channels algorithm, but one day you'll get the esports kids aim training pilled and gym pilled, diet im not sure about all that xD

About your channel ‘popularity’. I rly do not envy you at all… the value of the information that you are putting out is high, I personally do not believe that is the issue. The issue is the perception around aim training. Even for people who know it is good there comes a point where they feel like everything has been learnt by, for example, listening to a couple of you podcasts. For people who have a perceived answer to their question and are satisfied it, the likely hood of them seeking out more information is low. You are probably aware, but try finding a different channel which has the same problem as this space and if they are more successful try copy it. Whether it be zoomer editing or something else.

  • @pilkin5378

One thing that I tried to find when I started aim training is this….: let’s say you are doing scenarios A, but it isn’t going as well as it usually is - what do you do? Keep doing the same scenario..? Or do you try to isolate/logic your way to understanding what exactly is going wrong? I firmly believe that the latter is the better option. This is the approach when I do music practice of any sort, I’ve been playing piano since I was 6 and now I always use this approach. So. What did I try to find? I think a very important video (series of videos) is missing - the “training” to find what is going wrong AAAND then knowing what to do about it. Just straight up practical experience, e.g. see what scenario A is under ideal conditions, then view it again when ‘something’ is going wrong let the viewer guess first then provide an answer and possible solution. To elaborate: say I’m doing lddh (the really eractic reaction tracking thing) and something is going wrong. Say tracking is the thing your best at, a question would form, “why can’t I do this??” Well maybe it could be flicking. Then ‘the video’ would specify a scenario that might help. Sorry for the rambling! When I was first starting, having the baseline of knowing the answer to the ‘simpler’ questions would have made my journey quicker, I feel like. I strongly feel like that this aspect of aimtraining is not talked enough about cuz in my eyes, it is the most important thing and it was annoying that I couldn’t find resources for it.
